Apple Crumble
Classic apple crumble. Warm, crunchy and with a pinch of cinnamon. This is an absolute all time favourite comfort-dessert.
What can beat the classic comfort food - apple crumble.
“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”… For some reason this is one of those dishes that reminds me a lot of Christmas. The smell of cinnamon, the baked apple taste gives you that warm feeling. Easy to make, this is a one of those desserts that it conquers all.

Servings: 4-5 servings
Ingredients
Filling:
4 Granny Smith apples
1 cup butter (or coconut oil)
2 tbsp brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
1 tsp cinnamon
Topping:
2 cups oat flour
1 cup melted butter
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup rolled oats
Preparation:
Peel the apples and cut them in cubes.
On a skillet, put the butter and let it melt. Then add the brown sugar and let it merge with the butter and then pour the apple cubes. Cook it for about 10 minutes and sprinkle with the cinnamon.
In a bowl, mix the oat flour, oats, brown sugar and the melted butter until you get a crumby consistency.
On a baking pan, spread the apples and then the crumble mixture. Preheat the oven at 180C and bake the crumble for about 30-40 minutes.
Serve it warm with some vanilla ice cream.
