Apple Pie Overnight Oatmeal

What if you could bring your favourite apple pie in a jar, and have it for breakfast wherever you want. With this overnight oatmeal recipe you can! A very comforting breakfast, ready-to-go. Rich in healthy fats present in the nuts, whole carbs from the oats and plenty of flavour. You must try it!

Ingredients
Ingredients:
1 cup oats
200ml almond milk
1/2 apple, shredded
3 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Caramelised apple:
1/2 apple, in cubes
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Toppings:
Raisins
Walnuts
Preparation:
For the caramelised apple, in a pan melt the coconut oil and the apple. Let it cook for about 5 minutes and add the cinnamon and the nutmeg, let it cook for another 5 minutes. Let it cool down.
In a jar pour the oats, shredded apple, almond milk, chia seeds and the cinnamon, and mix gently. Let it rest for about 10 minutes in the fridge.
Then add the caramelised apple, raisins and the walnuts.
Put in the fridge overnight, and next morning your breakfast is ready.
